Maxine Walsh

Maxine Winton of Tampa, Florida, a former Barnard College student then attending Columbia Business School began dating Lawrence Edward Walsh during his senior year of college. They were married from 1936 until her death from cancer, at age 52, in 1964.

Lawrence E. Walsh, a former federal judge and a mainstay of the American legal establishment who as an independent counsel exposed the lawbreaking in the Reagan administration that gave rise to the Iran-contra scandal, died on 19 March 2014 at his home in Oklahoma City.
