She was the paternal granddau. of Philippe Delanoy (q.v. Delano), a passenger of the 1621 voyage of the Fortune to Plymouth, and maternal gr.granddau. of 1620 Mayflower passenger Richard Warren.
  • On Jan. 13, 1712/3, as recorded at Tolland, Conn., she m. as his first wife Capt. Joseph Hatch, Jr., son of Joseph Hatch & Amy Allen. He was b. at Falmouth, Mass. Aug. 3, 1689 where he d. Apr. 27, 1750, Æ 62.
  • Marcy and Joseph had eight child at Tolland, Conn., two who died soon after birth. The remaining six children all married with four of them remaining in Connecticut. For details of Marcy's family, see her husband's memorial.

  • Capt Joseph Hatch, Jr

  • Son of Joseph & Amy (Allen) Hatch. He married Mercy Delano on Jan. 13, 1713 in Dartmouth, MA, with whom he had six children: Amy, Joseph, Mercy, Jonathan, Lois, and Alice Hatch.
  • Following his wife, Mercy's death, Joseph Hatch married Rebecca (Parker) Lothrop on May 16, 1734 in Barnstable, MA, with whom he had four additional children: Lemuel, Rebecca, Ebenezer, and Timothy Hatch.
  • Joseph Hatch was a prominent leader in the settlement of Tolland, CT, where he was a selectman and large land owner. He bought and sold land in Kent, CT; and in Lee and Lenox, MA.
  • He was the first tavern keeper and the first military officer in Tolland, being commissioned Captain in 1725. He died in Falmouth while visiting relatives.
