About Mildred "Milly" Milla Cunningham
GEDCOM Note
Confirmed that Mildred's last name is Maddox. I see no more records of Mildred after 1870 and in fact, in the 1880 census, Aaron is shown as a widower. There was also some input that Mildred was NA. </line><line /><line>Could she be tied to Tecumseh?? Some documents indicate that Shawnee Indian Tribal Chief Tecumseh's brother Tribal Chief Cheeseekau's name was changed to Bennet Mattox/Maddox and another brother was named Henley Mattox/Maddox. Investigating this tie. </line><line /><line>Monacan possibly since she was said to be from Lynchburg VA. I am not sure if her spelling could be Mattox or not. She could also be a product of long term mixed race background possibly even East African or East Asian Indian, Malagasy, native American or any combination thereof.</line><line /><line>https://sites.google.com/site/maddoxfamilywebsite/colonial-slavery/...</line><line /><line>Ann Mattox: I wonder If My Mildred could be a sister to Ann M Mattox aka Sally Ann who was owned by Samuel Mattox. She named her daughter Milly same as my Milly. That would connect the DNA to Cassandra. </line><line /><line />
