רבי משה נולד בשנת תקמ"ט לרבי מרדכי ושרה בתו של רבי אהרן הגדול מקרלין. נישא לבתו של רבי יעקב יוסף מאוסטרהא (נכדו של רב ייב"י). בשנים הראשונות לאחר פטירת אביו לא רצה לנהל אדמו"רות אך לאחר מספר שנים עבר לקוריסצ'ב שם החל להתנהג באדמו"רות. לאחר פטירת אשתו נישא בשנית לבתו של רבי צבי אריה מאליק. נפטר בי"ח בטבת תרכ"ו. חתניו היו אחיינו רבי ברוך אשר מצ'רנוביל ורבי ברוך אוירבך מאיווניץ נכדם של הבעל שם טוב ושל התולדות יעקב יוסף
