He married a sister?(Berthe B) of the Dux Aunulf and daughter of Maurilion and wife, a daughter of a Chlodomir II, a German King of the fifth century.
They were the parents of:

- par son fils Bodogisel le grand-père paternel d'Arnoul de Metz et donc un ancêtre direct des Carolingiens.
