All of his sons served in the Battle of Bennington, and he helped to bury the dead British soldiers.

Son of Nathaniel Harmon and Mary Skinner Harmon. His father was one of first settlers of Suffield.
He was the husband, married Aug 24,1710 at Suffield,CT, of Esther Austin Harmon, whose father was an early school master. These Harmons were very educated and gifted in mathematics.
