Will
Nicolas made his will July 7,1774 (proved 27 November, 1782).
He must have not been as sick as he thought at the writing of his will....."being advanced in years and at this present time somewhat indisposed in body yet through the kindness of Providence of a sound disposing mind and memory for which I am thankful, and recollecting the mortality of my body, and the uncertainty of my continuance here thought it expedient to settle my estate in my family by making this my last will and testament...."
