Research Notes

There are several birth records for Nicholas Howland's 3rd daughter Rebecca:

Rebecca, b. 19 Feb 1701. This birth generates a system error msg because it resides 8 months after the birth of Nicholas' daughter Mary Howland (see sibling Marys' profile).
Rebecka, b. 9 Feb 1711/2 which triggers a system error msg for being within the 8 months before the birth of Nicholas' son Daniel.
The 2 births being referred to read: "Rebecca [dup. Rebeckah], d. Nicholas, born 19 Feb 1701 [dup. 9 Feb 1711/2, sic], Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. [8]

Based upon the original author/transcriber's notation, both Rebecca's were the same person: the daughter of Nicholas Howland. In his Will Nucholas calls her "his 3rd daughter" which affirms this interpretation.
