Yehuda Leibish, the son of the Gaon of Shmuel Wolkenfeld z"l was bornin 5596 (~1836). and was the grandson of the great rabbi Shmuel fromRinov, as well as a descendant of the BaCH, TaZ, and Tosfot Yomtov.His important teachers were his father, Shmuel, and the Gaon of the Gaons Yitzchak (ABD) [Av Bet Din] Sokolov. He was ordained to teach from the Tzaddik ABD Santz, and the Gaon Yisrael, ABD Tarnov. This ravhas written commentaries on Halacha and Agadah on which agreement hasbeen reached with the Gaon Rw Shalom Mordechai Hacohen z"l ABD Karian(?), and the gaon Rw Yehoshua Horowitz Shlita ABD of Vinkov, and theGaon Rw Shmuel Ananil (?) Shlita ABD Radamisha. His father in law was the Gaon Hatzaddik Rw Yitzchak Leib z"l ABD Frystik (his wife was was R' Elimelech of Lyzansk's grand-daughter via his daughter Etel). His son was R' Elimelech z"l. And this son is the grandson of the Rav Hagaon R' Haim shlita, the brother in law of The gaon R' Meir Yechiel,ABD Radchov, z"l.
