Sigurd Toresson fra Bjarkøy, by Wikipedia

Sigurd himself married a peer woman from Iceland, Aud Snorresdatter. She was the daughter of Snorre Gode, a man with a position in Iceland, and who actually called Torgrim Torgrimsson, and is mentioned in Eyrbyggja saga (Sagaen about Øyrbyggjaene) and in Njåls saga. Sigurd met Aud in Norway, but perhaps he knew her before. Aud was first married to a Viga-Barde (Viga = Drap) from Iceland who went with Aud to Norway. After a fierce quarrel, Viga-Barde left Aud and Miklagard, went into the guard corps and was later killed in a battle.

With Aud, Sigurd had his daughter Ragnhild Sigurdsdatter who was strategically married to Jon Arnesson from Giske, son of Arne Arnesson, and he descended from Erling Skjalgsson at Sola and Astrid Tryggvesdatter, sister of Olav Tryggvason. Ragnhild and Jon got their son Vidkun Jonsson from Bjarkøy, who is mentioned several times in the king's sagas. Snorre Sturlasson also mentions that Ragnhild and Jon had Sigurd Hund, Erling Jonsson and Jartrud Jonsdatter.

Project Runeberg

2) The Bjarkö family. Like the Torberg brothers, Arne Arnesson was a faithful follower of Olof the Holy, despite the fact that he was also married to a daughter of Erling Skjalgsson. When Olof returned to Norway, A. joined him and was severely wounded in the battle of Stiklastad. His son Jon married a daughter of Tore Hund and thereby inherited his ancestral estate Bjarkö. Jon's son was the well-known Vidkunn Jonsson from Magnus Barfot's last Irish train (1103), whose son Erling during the mutual the wars belonged to Magnus Erlingsson's party. His son Vidkunn Erlingsson was killed at the age of 18 (1183) by Sverre's followers. With him the family died out and Bjarkö went through to his sister Ragnar's marriage to the lawyer in Hålogaland Bjarne Mardsson . From them descended the "
younger Bjarkö family", who later also inherited Giske.
