Rebecca Savel was admitted to the church in Quincy, Province of Massachusetts bay, on 21 May 1697.[1]
According to one source, Rebecca Savil married John Bass III on either 17 Mar or 17 May of 1698, in Braintree, County of Suffolk, in the Province of Massachusetts Bay. Rebecca was John Bass III's second wife, his first wife, Abigail Adams, having died in 1696.[2]
The date of the marriage was probably 17 Mar 1698/9, since the records of the town of Quincy, in the Province of Massachusetts Bay, state that the marriage of Rebecca Savel of Braintree and John Bass (of John) took pQuincy, MA: Vital and Church Records, 1672-1870. .
