Richard Jones

Richard Jones 1871 Estate Papers (KAB; MOOC; 6/9/134; Ref 6920) does not name his parents, but does give his place of birth as St. Helena and that he died aged 49 years old.

Richard Jones 1822 baptism record names his parents as Thomas Jones and Margaret, but describes them only as "inhabitants". Source: Wits University

Saint Helena is Brittanje se 2de oudste oorblywende kolonie (nou as oorsese terein beskou), naas Bermuda.

In another document MOOC 13/1/270..reference 69 the records show that as the estate of Richard Jones was insolvent by £42.13.11 and this amount was paid into estate by Stephanus Jacobus Fouché as a donation on marrying his widow Margaretha Maria Cornelia.
