Richard P. Stetter, age 88, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Conestoga View Nursing Home, Lancaster, PA.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Harry R. and Florence Pontz Stetter and husband of the late Ruth Jarrett Stetter, to whom he was married for 55 years before her death. Richard was the last of his immediate family.
Richard retired in 1987 from G&E Construction Corporation where he had been employed for 42 years.
He served in the U.S. Army during WW II as a sergeant. Richard was a recipient of the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.
His enjoyments included fishing and hunting.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Richard's Life Celebration Graveside Service on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 1:00 PM in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
