• Robert Sonnenmark 21 MAR 1888 Hohenau, Austria-25 NOV 1942 Auschwitz. Married Marta Huber b. 23 JUN 1898, Tath, Hungary-d. 20 OCT 1944 Auschwitz. Robert's son Peter grew up in Prostějov, Czechoslovakia. His parents and sister were killed in Auschwitz, but Robert was able to escape to Palestine with the help of an uncle, Francis Huber. He immigrated to the United States in his early 20s, and died in 2010. Robert's wife, Eve Hoffenreich, escaped Austria with her parents during the Holocaust and immigrated to the United States in 1938, when she was 11 years old. She died in 1973.
