Issue of Samuel and Catherine (Warner) Howard:
(I.) Philip Howard (q.v.)
(II.) Deborah Howard (q.v.)
(III.) Ruth Howard
(IV.) ?Sarah Howard (q.v.)
(V.) Susan Howard
[Could this be where "Sarah Ruth" came from?"]
Samuel's will mentions Philip, Deborah, Ruth and Susan, but no Sarah.
Sarah Howard is mentioned by Prof. Warfield as a child of Samuel Howard, and he goes on to say that she m. Peter Porter, Jr. (son of Peter and Frances Porter), who, in his will [?] named "his father Samuel Howard ..."
More research is needed to confirm or refute this. I cannot find another source that names Sarah Howard as a wife of Peter Porter II, so I am disconnecting them.
