About Sarah Moorman

Andrew Moorman, son of Thomas Moorman (2) and Elizabeth (?Simpson?), was baptized 4 November 1689, St Peter’s Parish, New Kent County, Virginia.

In 1716, he occupied brother Charles’ property on Whyting Swamp. In 1725 he bought 400 acres in Henrico County (Virginia?) In November 1729 he purchased 280 acres of land in Hanover County, Virginia. In 1740 he sold some of Goochland County, property, moving to Brunswick County, Virginia. He went to Anson County, North Carolina about 1749.

He had at least two wives: Ann Diggs, whom he may have married about 1710 and Sally Clark married about 1737 in either Virginia or North Carolina; there is also a source which names a wife named Susan or Susanna, named on property sold by Andrew in 1726, 1728, & 1729. Her surname may have been Reynolds.
