Simon Dethick of North Elmham, Norfolk, gent.[1] (d. 1542; bur. 01 Mar 1542 St. James, Launditch, Norfolk).[2]. He is seen as the son of John Dethick, esq. of Wormegay, Norfolk and his wife, a daughter of Thomas Whatton of Whatton, Derbyshire.

Simon married Rose, daughter of Christopher Crowe of Mileham, Norfolk.[6] Her will is dated 25 October 1566. It was proved 21 November 1567.
