You forwarded me an email from great granddaughter of Eleanor aka Helene Katscher. According to my notes, Eleonore Katscher, daughter of Wolf Katscher (as listed above) married in Slavkov in February 1, 1852 Saloman Schwarz, a cantor, from Galszeis, Hungary. The marriage record reads that she was 15.8 years old. This is quite exceptional age, the parents had to agree to claim her adult, according to the law.

I will also look what pre-1800 records of Slavkov they have in the Archive of Prague Jewish Museum, and will get back to you.

Regards,

Julius
