Action: Plea of covenant.
Agreement: Roger and Sarah have acknowledged the tenements to be the right of William, and have rendered them to them in the court, to hold to William and Margaret and the heirs of William, of the chief lords for ever.
Warranty: Warranty by Roger and Sarah for themselves and the heirs of Sarah.
For this: William and Margaret have given them 10 marks of silver.

Parties: William Boneville, knight, and Alice, his wife, querents, and Edward Courtenay, earl of Devon, and Maud, his wife, deforciants.
Property: 2 messuages, 120 acres of land, 17 acres of meadow, 4 acres of wood and 4 acres of alder in Whyteford'.
Action: Plea of covenant.
Agreement: The earl and Maud have granted to William and Alice the tenements and have rendered them to them in the court, to hold to William and Alice, of the earl and Maud and the heirs of the earl for the lives of William and Alice, rendering yearly to the earl and Maud and the heirs of the earl 34 shillings and 5 pence, to wit, 8 shillings and 7 pence and 1 farthing at each of Christmas, Easter, the Nativity of St John the Baptist and St Michael and doing suit at the court of the earl and Maud of Whyteford' twice a year, and doing to the chief lords all other services. And after the decease of William and Alice the tenements shall remain to William, son and heir of John Boneville, and the male heirs of his body, to hold of the earl and Maud and the heirs of the earl by the aforesaid service for ever. In default of such heirs, successive remainders (1) to Thomas, brother of the same William, son of John, and the male heirs of his body, (2) to [William], son of Thomas, son of William Boneville, knight, and the male heirs of his body, (3) to John, brother of the same William, son of Thomas, and the male heirs of his body, (4) to William, son of the aforesaid William Boneville, knight, and the male heirs of his body and (5) to the heirs of the body of the aforesaid William Boneville, knight. In default of such heirs the tenements shall revert to the earl and Maud and the heirs of the earl, quit of the heirs of William Boneville and Alice [etc], to hold of the chief lords for ever.
Warranty: Warranty by the earl and his heirs.
For this: William Boneville and Alice have given them [?]100 marks of silver.
