Wayne Winfred SKINNER was born 4 Sep. 1896 in Painesville, Lake county, Ohio, the son of Roy Henry SKINNER and Winnifred A. NYE. He was a WW1 Army Veteran, a Pfc in Battery A, 134 Field Artillery. He never married; had worked at the nursery and died at his home in Painesville, May 3rd, 1967 at age 70. He is buried in Evergreen Cemetery near his parents. His brothers were: Everett Nye SKINNER who served in the US Army Infantry in WW1 and died at age 29 in 1922, three years after he was discharged; Harold Roy SKINNER died in 1951 at age 57, the husband of Mildred P.; Irvin French SKINNER died 21 Aug 1973 in Mentor, Lake county, Ohio at age 74, his wife Georgia P. died in 1949.
