About Willem Renssen
Willem was cremated in Arnhem and buried in Oosterbeek. In a newspaper death announcement placed by Arnhems Diakonnesse Institution, he would be extremely missed after 30 years of work and effort, almost from the building of the institution.
Willem was one of the instigators of the Johanna Stichting in Arnhem, where he praticed as surgeon and orthoped. After his death patients started the Dr.Renssen fund which purpose was to support the Johannes Stichting for children.
He was knight of the order of Oranje Nassau.
