Lived on “Zuurfontein” 200 acres, Cundy Clough, Klip River County via Ladysmith, Natal in 1879. *  “Zuurfontein” was bought by ''Gerhardus Phillipus Kemp'' on 11-11-1892, so not a farm in 1877.

"Zuurfontein", "Vaal Krantz" (421 acres), "Vaarwel" (551 acres), "Williams Hoek" (490 acres) & "Emigrants Home" (600 acres) - all sold to H J Krogman on 3-12-1910. He also farmed "Groenpunt" farm, Dannhauser district
