Emigrated aboard DE TROUW (FAITH) from Amsterdam 24 March 1662, arrived New Amsterdam 12 June 1662. Adriaen Gerritsen, from Utrecht; farmer, and Wife and five children [NWI].

(Dorothy L. Tompkins) He and wife came from Utrecht, Holland in "Faith" ("Trouw"), Mar., 1662, with 5 ch. (13,12,11,8,7), arrived N. Amsterdam 13 Jun 1662, soon thereafter located in Kingston records.

(Krom-Krum Gen.) Arrived in New Amsterdam on ship De Trouw, from Utrecht, 24 Mar 1662, at Wiltwyck by 3 June 1663. (Sources: Revised Sailing Lists, Kingston Dutch Court Rec. in NY State Hist. Assoc. Proc. XI:71). Had wife and five children with him.
(Van Vliet Gen.) Landing at New Amsterdam 13 June 1662, he shortly appeared in the records of "the Esopus" (Kingston). By grant and purchase he became owner of several land parcels in Kingston and adjacent parts of Ulster Co.

 In the Indian attack of June, 1663, one of his daughters was captured with other settlers, but they were soon recovered.
 Adrien apparently had died by 1 Sep 1689 when there are records that his sons either signed or did not appear to sign the oath of allegiance.
