If In Doubt - Check It Out! This project is designed to support newer users and seasoned users alike. If you add or see a profile that may need further research as to its position in the tree, add it to this project. Others will see that flag, be more cautious before a merge, or possibly check it in the resources available to them.
Profiles should be added here if their relationship connections in the tree are in doubt ie:
- Parentage
- Marriage
Please note, this is not to encourage less research, but a tool to assist while working "on the fly."
Please put as much information as you can in the "about box" including links to where you sourced the data. This will make it easy for others to check its validity.
Once a profile is fully proven, it must be removed from this project.
It is also possible to add your personal CheckMe! project under this one should you require a way to track and go back to your previous unfinished work. In that case you may add any profile you need to research further. This could be resource hungry, so should only be used by people working in the Big Tree with caution. What we do on Geni effects many peoples trees, I will check to see if this can be added to the HistoryLink project, being a working project it may not be accepted.
