To participate in this project, join or follow the project, add your oldest known ancestor who belonged to this haplogroup, & yourself. The profile must be set to public in order to add it.

TIP: If you know your mtDNA Progenitor mother, Jeff Gentes' wonderful History Link App provides a way to check if there are others on the Geni tree who share her with you: + 'Ancestor Graph' ( top right) + Little boxed face in the middle, next to your name, & change the person to your mtDNA PROG's profile link + Change the box options below to '10 or more Generations to Display'; 'Descendants' & 'mtDNA' + 'Build Graph' (green box, top right) + Choose the 'Status' circle option - as this will show you which of her descendants are also Geni users (claimed profiles).
