My Grandfather Alfred Branford born in Kidderminster West Midlands Uk on 14th December 1894 was the only child of my Great Grandfather whose name I don’t know and my Great Grandmother whose name I also don’t know, due to family fall outs. My GG mother married again to a Grainger and had I think another 3 sons ,one of who.was called Cyril. Alfred married Alice Taylor ( she wouldn’t talk about her family, my mother and uncle, both deceased, thought her family had died in a fire when she was very young) My Uncles name was Cyril my Mother’s Rita. My uncle had no children and my Mother just had me Gail. I have just started thinking about my ancestors and am considering looking further into firsty the Branfords as I understand that this surname is quite rare and may be easer to trace. I do know that there was a relative of Alfred called Noah (I have seen some entries for a Noah Branford) I also am lead to believe that there was one male relative who wet to Philadelphia and bough a bride who may have been called Daisy May. It would be good hear from anyone who this information may be of interest to.m
