Cruywagen Genealogy and Cruywagen Family History Information

Arnold Kuys Cruywagen was my great grandfather. He had the most wonderful sense of humor and was taken to Bellary in India with his brother, Adriaan Johannes Cruywagen. Although there are records of his brother, I couldn't find any records of my great grandfather yet. The only trace of his existence is the grave in our family burial plot in Beverley Gardens. It is situated where the old farm, Driefontein, in Randburg was. It seems as if the Brinks and Cruywagens were very close. Both families lived in Drakenstein and Waveren, and went to Driefontein in Pretoria during the Boer war and both families moved to Driefontein in Randburg. I wish I could untangle the web. I'm getting there!
