I think the name Erdély for Transsylvani or for an other regon was in use as early as in the antiquity as the name of illyrian chief Skerdilaida ( Sek-Erdil-Awida ) meaning perhaps Hadés of Erdély - connected to Hatseg/Had-Sek - may show, and this may come from Et -Ayal-Er-Ga's name (er-di-il),who was one of the sons of A-wash-e-shak-al-ra and ancestor of ilergaet tribe of euskara nation in Alaba and elsewhere.
Ilerda is also their city regarded as Llérida of today.
His son was Awar-Awa'e-Le of whom illyr nation itself of etrussk origin coming from near river Etil in Russkia may descend : Ayal-Le-Awa'e-Awar.
Their levites spoke albanian language as offspring of Alaba-Nawa alias Al-Ar-Get-Da-Na,meaning people of Ardeal, geta or dák or arnaut nation.
Jews and christians call them Tolaa,Ishshakar,Yeri'el,Libni or Laadan.
