Global Family Reunion: Help Unite the World and Fight Alzheimer’s

The Global Family Reunion is only a few months away! Will you be there? We’re excited to let you know that the Global Family Reunion has launched a crowdfunding campaign with two very important goals in mind: unite the world and battle Alzheimer’s.

Throwing the epic family get-together is best-selling author A.J. Jacobs, and he’s inviting all 7 billion of his cousins to come to what will be the largest, most inclusive family reunion in history. The event will take place on June 6, 2015 at the New York Hall of Science in Queens, New York and it is set to be quite the star-studded bash.

The event is also a benefit to raise money to fight Alzheimer’s. When you purchase any of the perks on the Global Family Reunion Festival page, all proceeds will go towards battling Alzheimer’s. Official beneficiaries are The Alzheimer’s Association New York City and the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.

Among the perks available in the Global Family Reunion crowdfunding campaign:

  • Tickets to the reunion
  • A gorgeous computer visualization of how you’re linked to your 20,000 closets relatives by an Israeli data specialist
  • Signed copies of A.J.’s upcoming book about the quest to unite the world with DNA and family trees
  • A personal video call with A.J. with a bonus perk of a Geni Pro subscription for a year
  • A.J. will even dedicate the book to the first person who donates $10,000 to the Alzheimer’s benefit. (His wife will understand).

For more details, be sure to visit the Global Family Reunion’s crowdfunding page.
