Happy birthday, Alec Baldwin! Today the famous actor turns 57.

Born in Amityville, New York, Baldwin is the eldest son of Carol Newcomb and Alexander Rae Baldwin, Jr. His younger brothers, Daniel, William and Stephen, also become actors.

His first acting role was on the daytime soap, The Doctors. Since then, he’s tackled several rolls on stage and film, including big screen projects Beetlejuice, The Hunt for Red October and Rock of Ages. He even got to show off his comedic talents in a starring role on the hit television show 30 Rock, for which he won numerous awards.
