World War II -American Project

Wll, this is over 2 months later - first four pages of Profiles are all deceased except for two. So this definitely hasn't happened.

Also, wonder about creating a PUBLIC profile, naming someone, when the comment in About says: "Mr. Hawthorne prefers to be left out of the public eye, and his wishes will be respected." - it seems to me like no, they were not.

For many of the first profiles, I looked, saw a link in the About section - it goes to a page requesting one to register - registering requires a credit card. Is this really ideal??

So sorry I haven't seen this post till now. Might it be easier to change the groups names? But Veterans are Veterans, alive or deceased.

Before just a few days ago we could not change the name of a project.

I'm going to see if I can change the names and combine the two into one. then delete the one that is no longer needed.

The two projects are now combined into this one.

I have put the link to this project in the War portal, if you dont not want it there feel free to remove it

Private User - looks like you should also remove
" WW II Veterans" - that's the former name - clicking on it only gets notice that "Project not found".

So after someone dies do we have to change their project? Seems kind of dumb

Mary Sanford Drexler - this is Discussion from 2012. Not sure how accurate or current it is.
It is my understanding that Projects are only for Public Profiles -- and the Living have Private Profiles (unless MPd) - so not clear how they could possibly even be in a Project.
