Hi I'm Caetlin Elizabeth Kirby I'm from Port Campbell Victoria, Australia and at the moment I am looking at my Brazier side of the family and I'm looking into John Lakelands family and I was wondering if there was any special information that you might have because I'm interested in finding out a little more about John Lakeland and I would love to hear from different people about what information they have found out and if they could please let me know and I would love to hear back cheers Caetlin Kirby. I hope we can all get something on John Lakeland because I don't know anything about him i only found his biography and I didn't know if anyone else knew about him.

Hi to the lakeland family I've being trying to find out some information because my auntie Irene Robina Knox has been helping me with the family tree and I have found out that my sister Rylan Robina Kirby and my mother Julianne Vernon Brazier are related to you on my grandma's side of the family. I would love to get to know you all some time very soon lots of love your cousin Caetlin.

Hello Caetlin, I was doing a search for the "Lakeland" surname, and your post came up.

I'm not sure if you are still looking for information, but my grandmother on my Dad's side was Hilda Lillian Lakeland. She had a brother, John William Lakeland
(1876–1960).

John was born in 1876 in Ballarat, Victoria. He died on 6 February 1960.

Their parents were Robert and Isabella (Gleason) Lakeland.

Hi, my name is Wendy McGrath ( Lakeland), I am a descendant of John Lakeland, Superintendent of Convicts in Tasmania circa 1818 to 1825. His wife was Mary Arndell, daughter of Thomas Arndell Surgeon on the First Fleet. I'm interested in connecting with any relatives of Gordon John Lakeland, born in Launceston Tasmania in 1910.
