Boudicca, Queen of the Iceni
is my 50th great grandmother.

i have noticed that no parents to Boudicca are mentioned in her tree ? are records lost ? or what can the reason be for the
"blanks"

she is my 48'th gr. grandmother - and i can answer my own question :) for preventing addind errorneous parents - fine :)

So she has no descendants!! Then why dont they remove the link??

12/5/2013 at 4:26 PM

Good question, Valerie!

12/5/2013 at 9:06 PM

nope she has no descendents. i would remove the link but someone will just add it back again

12/6/2013 at 2:52 AM

history says; she had 2 daughters ?

12/6/2013 at 2:55 AM

but they arent given names and they both presumably died in the big battle

.. the problem is with who were her parents - done to avoid too many conflicting lineages acc. to the administrator ...

12/6/2013 at 5:23 AM

there are no texts that list her parents just says that she was of noble lineage. we will never know

12/6/2013 at 12:14 PM

Wait now,,wernt her daughters raped by the romans...if memory serves they didnt have birth control back then......

12/6/2013 at 1:07 PM

it doesnt say anything about them becoming pregnant

12/6/2013 at 2:32 PM

Valerie F E Peters
LOL :)
Sure seems to be an awful lot of written history for someone who don't exist? This is, itself a record?..... Is it not?
So she is recorded, but not her parents? Correct?

12/6/2013 at 2:58 PM

yes thats correct.

12/6/2013 at 3:04 PM

well they know she exists it the question of her parentage and the question of her daughters having children...they need to find records.
