Now I understand the reason for the mess
Hillel Erner
Hillel Erner has two wives named Rebbeca (before my merge)
and Rebbeca Erner was born as Shulkind
(This was the reason I merged them)
but one of them is daghter of the same (!) Samuel Shulkind
Samuel Shulkind and the other is his wife.
So the data has a problem orginally
Thanks,
עכשיו אני מבין את הסיבה לבלגן
Hillel Erner
להלל Erner יש שתי נשים בשם Rebbeca (לפני המיזוג שלי)
Rebbeca Erner נולדה כשולקינד
(זו הייתה הסיבה שמיזגתי)
אבל אחת מהם בת של אותו (!) סמואל שולקינד והשנייה אשתו.
לכן יש בעיה בנתונים לפני המיזוג
Hello, I am Rebecca Shulkind's grand-daughter Monica and the daughter of Edgar and June Shulkind. I have my grandmother's identity certificate dated 16 August 1946 and it contains the following information:
Surname LEMBERGER SHULKIND
First name Rebecca
Date of birth 22 May 1892
Place of birth Budy
Nationality Russian
Surname and forenames of father SUGINIWICH Mendel
Furname and forenames of mother FRUMMA Chaja
Name of husband SHULKIND Samuel
Can anyone help explain the LEMBERGER SHULKIND entry as I am not familiar with the Lemberger name? Thank you.
Monica Lynette Harvey can you please add the id card to her profile (add as a photo or use the media tab)
The Lemberger Schulkind is the husband's surname. Often if the parents were not registered as married with the officials (only married religiously), they were given the mother's name as the legal surname, and sometimes the parents obtained an official marriage later and the children could be known under either surname. Here, Samuel's father is Schulkind and his mother is Lemberger, so that is the likely explanation.
