Michael, thanks for this. Elizabeth Bennett, one of the names listed, is an ancestor of mine. Now that I know she came to America as a servant of James Claypoole, I wonder if there is any way to figure out how long she was indentured? Are there records of such things?

It is had to ferret out such details. I do not recall any systematic way of determining an answer to this question, especially for women.
What to you know about any marital partner for Elizabeth? Was he indentured too?

You might add Elizabeth's url to this discussion so that there is a path to this discussion and see if you get a hit from someone else interested and knowledgeable about Elizabeth.
Such things are always a long shot...
