Henry Pittman born 1827 died 1916 is on geni with the following children - some of which cannot possibly be his due to their birth dates

* Hannah Pittman born 1825
* William Frederick Pittman born 1840
* Rebecca Pittman born 1838
* Frances Joanna Jane Pittman born 1845
* Robert Pittman - no dates
* Hannah Frances Bramley born 1862
* Samuel Pittman born 1860
* John Henry Pittman born 1856
* Mary Murray born 1858
* William Albert Pittman born 1854
* Robert Pittman born 1866
* Wallace Pittman born 1868
* Sarah Wicks (Pittman) born 1870
* Rachel Palmer born 1872
* George James James Pittman born 1874
* Charles Frederick Pittman born 1876

There have obviously been an incorrect merge or two in the past, however they are before the ability to reverse.

There are 3 distinct wives showing

* Mary Pittman

The children of Mary Pittman are born between 1825 and 1845 so are not the children of Henry Pittman born in 1827

I have created a separate Henry PITTMAN - John Matthew Pittman [Convict "Surrey" 1814] to attach the children to

Robert Pittman and Robert Pittman are duplicates therefore Charlotte Pittman and Charlotte Pittman are duplicates. I will merge them.

John Matthew Pittman [Convict "Surrey" 1814] is the same as John Matthew Pittman [Convict "Surrey" 1814]

It seems that someone merged Henry PITTMAN with his father - so that his siblings were incorrectly listed as his children.

I will merge.
