--There is an 1887 Family List - Josvainiai/Kaunas/Kaunas -- --
[Page 63 – Registration # 177 -- former Reg # 75/770 ] for: VOLFBERG Abram Itsko -- (father = Leyba) -- Head -- age this: 40; 20 in 1866 -- Yes, this is Josvainiai, and father is Leyba - but does not necessarily mean it is Leyba Volfberg -- 1874, 1887 Lists suggest this Leyba born abt 1835/1836, and Abram itsko is 40 in 1887 => b abt 1847 - so suggests when Leyba was about 11 or 12.

--1874 Additional Revision Lists [Oshmiany/ Oshmiany / Vilnius] have ZYSKAND - VOLBERG Leiba -- father=Leizer -- Head with son Movsha age this: 22 - so born c 1852 -- Abram Itzyk is 40 in 1887 so born c 1847 - so would fit well with this family. Also, his former Reg. is 75/770 - NOT 42 for first one, as is true for all the rest of Charles / Tsalko Wolfberg's clan. -- Does not mean Abram Itsko goes to the family with Leizer as g'father - does definitely demonstrate was more than one possibility at the time for "Leyba Volfberg" [there is also FOLFBERG Leyba - father=Mikhel on 1866 Additional Revision List for Luoke/Siauliai/ Kaunas - and likely others]

--Military List - Date: December 1868 -- Josvainiai / Kaunas / Kaunas [Page26 - Reg.: 91 - Former Reg: 75 ] -- has WOLFBERG Abram Itsik -- father: Leyb --- age this: 23; age last 21 -- Comments: "included in 1866" -- this is within a year of age on 1887 List, so probably same person - again, not correct Reg.#s for rest of Charles / Tsalko Wolfberg's clan.

Does any Curator have any insight about this - there are claimed profiles downstream which should not be disconnected from their true ancestors - but equally should not be being given false information about their ancestors.
(As currently shown, TENT. -- Abram Itsko Volfberg is my second cousin twice removed.)

Hatte Rubenstein Blejer - is this an area you are familiar with, and/or have any insight on which action should be taken and/or do you have suggestions on who might? (Can you make any sense of what I am asking in my first post?)

Private User - you entered and manage most of these profiles. I contacted you about a year ago, I think, about a couple of the other profiles in this line. You provided the info that Josvainiai is a very, very small town (population today is 1500) and that Tsalko (Hebrew name Betsalel) and also Wolfberg were each a not-very-common name, but you said that you did not remember the details. Do you by chance have any info to provide about this situation, or ??

You have done by far more research than anyone into this, so I am happy to just follow your guidance. If further corrections are needed in the future, we can make them then.

Divon - Thanks! However, the main problem is deciding which changes should be made. Will let you know if I reach the point where I can see clearly what should be done, but am unable to do it.
