I had the great pleasure of experiencing Carl Adam Petri personally as a teacher and in some personal talk. From this personal experience, I have come to the conclusion that it is appropriate to call him not only a mathematician and computer scientist, but also a philosopher. I am therefore putting him into the philosophy project, for his development of novel ways of thinking about time and causality and representing these in formalisms.
