It looks like Sarah Carter should be detached as daughter of John Crew, of New Kent County & Sarah Crew
I’ve gone ahead based on the Wikitree research (below).

Sarah Ellyson's maiden name was apparently not Crew. Writers have confused her with her daughter-in-law Sarah Crew who married her son Robert Ellyson in 1714/15 (her husband, Gerrard Robert Ellyson, is sometimes also referred to by his middle name, "Robert," which adds to the confusion). Virginia Davis writes in her great book, "Tidewater Virginia Families", page 385, "No record has been found of the maiden name of Sarah Ellyson". Gerard Robert Ellyson II and wife Sarah became Quaker dissidents separating from St. Peter's Anglican Church in New Kent Co. VA. They moved just over the Chickahominy River into Henrico Co. VA. Gerard Robert Ellyson died in 1749. After a widowhood of 22 years Sarah Ellyson, age about 85, married a much much younger man. News of this reached the newspaper in Williamsburg, VA. setting off much gossip. The "Purdie & Dixon's Gazette" for Mar. 14, 1771, reported, "Yesterday was married in Henrico Mr. William Carter, son of Mr. John Carter, aged 23, to Mrs. Sarah Ellyson, relict of Gerrard Ellyson, decd., aged 85, a sprightly old tit with three thousand pounds."[1][2][3] I think Sarah Ellyson must have been a character.
