According to all the records I can find, Elizabeth Ann Mebane was born in 1780 while her son was born in 1791. I surely hope that she wasn't 11 when she gave birth, does anyone have sources for this?

@Samuel, my records show that Ann Allen, the mother of George Allen Mebane, was born Dec. 14, 1765, and married David Mebane in 1786. George Allen Mebane, second of 11 children, was born Feb 10, 1791 My source is History and Genealogy of the Mebane Family of Colonial Pennsylvania and North Carolina, by Robert M. Mebane, 1999. Robert doesn't list her full name. If correct, this would indicate Ann Allen Mebane would have been 26 years old when George was born.

Alan Mebane, thank you for the response. It's a pleasure to meet you cousin!
Strange as to why the D.O.B. for Ann is off and the reaming children are missing. I have found Robert McNair Mebane's genealogy report in the UNC Library system (https://catalog.lib.unc.edu/catalog/UNCb3246495) but I am unable to digitally access it and is currently listed as "not available" from the physical Wilson Library. I've been working on validating entries on Geni and MyHeritage in regards to the Mebane-Kerr and Pannill-Martin family trees on-and-off for the last year and would love to speak with you more. I'll send a message along to your inbox later this afternoon.
Thanks again,
Sam

@Hi Sam. I hope we are talking about the same Ann Allen and I'm not misleading you. If you give me your email address, I will scan the page from "Colonel Bob's" book and send it to you. I hope you can see a copy of the actual book at some point. He did a huge job of compiling it.
I looked for your name in my records to see how we are related, but couldn't find you.
Regards, Alan
