Thank you Chris, I'm not questioning George's parentage. The problem I'm seeing is multiple profiles with the same name but different dates belonging to different generations, which seem to be mislocated in the tree, causing inconsistencies, pending merges, and duplicates.

Many of these problems can't be resolved by anyone (like me) who isn't familiar with the family pedigree. For example, I have trouble making decisions about where each of the different Alices and John belong, not being familiar with their parentage and marriages, children belonging to them, etc.

It further complicates the process when some of the duplicates' dates are off just slightly, or by several years in some cases. Or they may be missing information or missing source citations.

It is also further complicated by the fact that some merge operations have already been initiated on this line, but left incomplete with just a ton of loose ends.

Other than that, I don't have any sources other than MyHeritage, so don't have enough info to clarify anything.
