It was pointed out to me some years ago by Ancestry that there were two Lucy Corkers around that time. Plenty more sine, and maybe before. The Corker Tree runs thus William Corker B1504 son James Corker 1522 Son John Corker 1554 married Dorothea Bishop B1558. Her father was Mathew Bishop B1534. John and Dorcas had three sons William Corker1584 John Corker 1590 or 1600 and another who may have been a Richard or a Robert.
Their first son William married Lucy White and they had three daughters Susannah 1600 Judith 1602 and Lucy 1604. John, Williams younger brother immigrated to Virginia arriving 1622. He had a son called William Corker B 1630 who had a daughter called Lucy B 1657. Her first husband was William Rose, hence Lucy Rose, and her second was Thomas Jordan of Surrey County son of Autherr Jordan. Its all there for all to see if you want to look it up..
Erica back to John Green of Cliffords Inn first husband of Ann Baker.. It was thought that all the records of Cliffords Inn were lost. however in 1998 they discovered material dating from 1619, a bit to late for our story. I know you like Wills, have you managed to have sight of Samuel Jordan of Jordans Journey, I know it is held at Archives in Kew, but trying to deal with them at the moment is impossible as they are all working from home, which is a euphemism for doing sweet fanny adams
Do apologies to Cynthia for mentioning Jordan AGAIN!!!
Regards Jude
