It appears that one of his sons is Simon Key JR born between 1750 - 1755 in Albemarle County, VA died Jul 14, 1829 in Warren County Kentucky. (add this generation?)
One of Simon Key JR sons is Elijah Key Sr. 1773-1826 ( Elijah's grandfather is Simon Key SR (twin) and his father is Simon Key JR .
I have minimal free time and limited access to research but thought this might be worth investigating further.
