James Wilson Jackson is my 2xgreat grandfather who is buried at the foot of Merrill Mountain
in Marshall County AL. His death date is 28 April 1902, I have reason to believe he is kin to
this Jackson family since he had a son Ruffus Jackson b. in Hamilotn Co TN. My great grand
mother Matilda Jackson Holt is listed as being born in TN, thus I believe she too was born in
Hamilton Co. They had a brother Tante and a sister Delila. Tante d. without issue. The tales
were handed down that Matilda was 1/4 Indian. If you could please help me find the parents
of James Wilson Jackon in Hamilton Co TN....as I understand it, there were onlu about 8,000
peple there in 1840's.
I also believe the WILSON name is a sir name for a relative.
