Thomas Williams Capps - Name change?

I don't see any of these CAPPS or CAVES in the database. I do know that Rebecca Holtzclaw b. 1797 married John Capps 14 Nov 1816 in Clay Co., MO. John Capps is the son of Edward Capps and Argin MNU.

Rebecca Holtzclaw is the daughter of Archibald Holtzclaw and Miriam Hitt.

I'll ask Cathi Clore Frost about the transition of the name Capps to Cave, I'm not familiar with that at all!
