Iv'e been researching our family history since 1987, so a long time! That family research has taken me all over the USA and Europe, specifically, Germany and Scotland. I've been associated with the Germanna Foundation since 1999, I've served on the Board of Trustees since 2007, served as the Secretary for several years, serve on the Education and Publication Committee and contribute regularly to the quarterly newsletter along with the MISSing column. I also serve as one of two genealogists for the Germanna Foundation and I am a Germanna descendant. In addition to all of that, I plan, organize and lead the Annual Germanna Foundation Germany Trip. We visit the ancestral villages of the Germanna immigrants and the itinerary is based on the ancestry of the travelers.

Needless to say, I love genealogy and traveling and spending time with my family.
