Does anyone know the source of the supposed father of Nicholas, named Hansen Umstat? Also, his birth of ca 1625--Is this just a guess? In addition, it seems these early Umstats were from Kreigsheim, not Krefeld. Lots of analysis has been done on Umsted.org.
