Rist Grimm married Minnie Ann Freed in March 1894. The story passed down through the family was that Rist hired Minnie to look after his daughter Ethel Mae after Rachel died in September 1893. They went on to have more children. One of which was my grandfather, Edgar Franklin Grimm.
