They should be in the Mayflower Books. I can’t look now but shouldn’t be hard to find.

Has a bit of information about Johnathan SNOW 1711 that might assist with research.

Jonathan married Sarah [Unknown] about 1742. No marriage record has been found. They had 3 children together all born in Dunstable:

  • Sarah Snow b: 30 May 1743 in Dunstable, Middlesex, Massachusetts. A Sarah m. Jonathan Perham 15 Oct 1760[7][5]
  • Dorcas Snow b: 20 Nov 1746 in Dunstable, Middlesex, Massachusetts;[7] A Dorcas m. Joseph Hamblit, jr. of Dracut, intention Oct 10, 1767[7][5]
  • Philip Snow b: 18 Feb 1748 in Dunstable, Middlesex, Massachusetts[7][5] He moved to Maine and died in 1850 in Charleston, Penobscot, Maine, USA.

This is not the Jonathan Snow that passed away in 1762. The Jonathan Snow who died April 18, 1762, was, by his probate documents, the husband of Esther (Barney).[1] He was born 1702, son of Daniel and Rachel Snow.[2]

This is not the Jonathan Snow, husband of Sarah (Bangs), who was firmly established in Harwich at the time.

This is not Jonathan Snow, who married Sarah (Soule) either. Their information has been well established by the Mayflower Society.

Hannah Tibbets - no source for her origins easily available. Managers should be queried.

Yes, the Wikitree looks correct.

Jonathan Snow was Selectman of Nottingham West, Massachusetts Bay, in 1739 and town clerk in 1740.[5] This location was formerly part of Dunstable, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay, and later would become Hudson, Hillsborough, New Hampshire.

And that’s congruent with the birth record for Phillip Snow.

I don’t think there were two Philips, and Phillip Snow, Sr can be merged into Phillip Snow, Sr

They have different parents. If I merge them it will cause an inconsistency.

That’s OK, I’ll resolve. But there’s only one Phillip born in 1748, the son of Jonathan & Sarah.

Sorry - I mean, Sarah Snow of Cape Cod (southern Massachusetts) did not have a son Phillip born in Northern Massachusetts.

Sarah Bangs married Jonathan Snow, b. Dec. 22, 1709, on 24 February 1737, in Harwich, Barnstable Co., Mass. They had 10 children together, including some that never reached maturity:[3]

  2. Lemuel Snow, b: 1740 (no day or month recorded) (unproven)
  3. Melathiah (aka Millathiah) Snow, b: 18 JAN 1741
  4. Mary Snow, b: 19 FEB 1742
  5. Jonathan Snow, b: 4 MAY 1747 = "Colonel Snow"; d. 3/3/1828
  6. Sarah Snow, b: 28 MAR 1751
  7. Mark Snow, b: ? - died just after birth
  8. Mark Snow, b: 11 MAY 1753
  9. Jane Snow, b: 15 SEP 1758
  10. Samuel Snow, b: 22 MAR 1761

Merged duplicate Phillip Snow, Sr (there was another one).

Resolved.
