There is a Facebook Group for those of us doing serious research into Łomża and Suwałki gubernia families. It's called Suwalki-Lomza Independent Jewish Genealogy Research Group. It was started by Evan Wolfson who knows a lot about Łomża towns and families and moderated by me and Jody Tzucker, who both know a lot about Suwałki towns and families.
It is not intended for beginning researchers. The two large FB groups - Tracing the Tribe and Jewish Genealogy Portal are the groups for you if you have very basic questions.
In the Suwalki-Lomza groups, we translate records, search records and draw upon our members' long experience with the communities of these areas.
